Given the widespread problems folks are having with iOS 5 we thought we’d share a few of the features and associated apps with you all. This update is fairly major – some would call it iOS catching up to some of the best features of Android, especially the interesting new notifications screen – but there was surprisingly little to really show. Most of the features are hidden behind the scenes and the improvements like multitouch gestures have a bit of a tacked-on feel at worst and are inconsequential at best.

If you’re trying to upgrade your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to iOS 5 this afternoon, there’s a pretty good chance that it isn’t going to go smoothly: Twitter is currently teeming with complaints that users are suffering from an “internal error” as iTunes attempts to activate each device. The issues are so prevalent, in fact, that ‘Error 3200′ is now a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Ouch

Facebook ads are getting cheaper and users are clicking them more, says a new report from Facebook Ads API partner TBG Digital . From the second to the third quarter of 2011, click-through rates increased 18.5% while the cost per click decreased 10.8%
