With several of the heavily anticipated consumer IPOs savaged over the last year in public markets, later-stage companies might be more conservative in the near future about when to go public. That might be frustrating to employees, who have vested over four years.

Toronto photo-sharing startup 500px is reporting today that both of its applications, 500px for iOS and its recent acquisition ISO500 , have been pulled from the Apple App Store due to concerns about nude photos. Combined, the apps have over 1 million downloads, 500px COO Evgeny Tchebotarev tells us. The flagship application has just under a million downloads, while ISO500 has a little over 200,000, he says.

Freelancer.com , the job outsourcing and freelance IT worker marketplace, has made another acquisition: it has bought vWorker , a job site for freelance coders and other tech professionals.
